Julius Caesar

By William Shakespeare

Directed by Rob Card

Julius Caesar is one of Shakespeare’s most captivating plays, blending the historical and tragic genres into a masterwork of intrigue, betrayal, deception, revenge and war.  This is the tale of the rise and fall of two great men: Caesar – a powerful general, tested in battle, and one of Rome’s most aggressive conquerors, and Brutus – a servant of the people and a believer in the greatness that is Rome.  Tragic figures, fatally flawed, yet both rise to the highest power in Rome. . . if only for a brief instant.
