One Act Play Weekends

We have a long tradition of mounting some of the "smaller" plays. What happens is 2-4 one act plays are performed on a single evening at a single low price. This has proven quite popular with our audiences as they get the opportunity to see shows that are not often performed, and see a range of acting and directing all on a single night out! For the theatre community, the "One Acts" (as they are often referred to as) provide an excellent opportunity to experiment and try something new. Whether it's getting up the nerve to go on stage for the first time, to play something that is more of a stretch, to try your hand at directing, to see what its like to help back stage, or just coming out to show your support and enjoying an evening as an audience member, the One Act Play Weekends provide a nice bite size taste of the community theatre scene.
