JULY '06 OAPW
The plays we'll be presenting are...
- Ten Year Awakening
By Angi Noe
What happens when the ghosts of high school years past come back to haunt eight "friends" at their reunion? Some may laugh. Some may cry. Some may be reminded of just how nasty and unpleasant their classmates really were. One thing is for certain; nobody will leave their "ten year awakening" without discovering, first hand, what words like "friendship", "loss" and "love" really mean. Dig out your old suits and pull up a chair. We've got a lot of catching up to do.
- Babels in Arms
Written by David Ives, directed by Andrew Frey
Did you ever have one of those days when your boss gave you an impossible job? After a few minutes with Gorph and Canniphlit, you’ll soon realize that your mountain is just a mole hill and their mole hill is bigger than any mountain. What are two blue-collar Mesopotamian construction workers supposed to do when they’re contracted to build the Tower of Babel? Get out of it, of course.
