Donation FAQ

On July 19, 2002, our historic theatre building located at 9 Princess St. E. was destroyed by an electrical fire. The KWLT Board of Directors and our dedicated volunteers worked tirelessly over a period of 7 years to raise enough money to rebuild our space, and the doors reopened on July 9, 2009. We are thrilled to be back in our permanent home, but we still rely on the support of our patrons and volunteers to keep us going.

Why give?

For 80 years, the Kitchener-Waterloo Little Theatre has been offering actors, technicians, and audience a opportunity to try theatre for the 1st time, the 100th time and the 1000th! From novice directors to those seen on the stage at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, we are proud to offer a fantastic product at a fantastic price. KWLT is still working hard on improving the current space, with an eye towards eventually rebuilding a second floor and redesigning our lobby. Your donations are key to helping that happen!

How can I donate?

KWLT operates a page through CanadaHelps.org, a charitable fundraising organization that allows us to receive online donations.
