Kitchener-Waterloo Little Theatre proudly presents three fresh plays as part of The June One Act Weekends of 2010. This year brings us three comedies:


Angel vs. Demon written and directed by Michael Mercy
A one-act comedy documenting the eternal struggle between an Angel of light and a Demon of darkness, from the fiery inception of creation to the cold, stuffy courtroom of Judge Lewis T. Stone. When brute force doesn't vanquish your arch enemy, you take 'em to court!

You Never Say the Scottish Play written by Gary Peterson and directed by Chuck McPhail
As a group of actors prepare to audition, they must go through the rites of atonement for invoking the Scottish Play. Will the curse be lifted?

Street Justice: Musical Justice 2: Sequel Justice: Justice!!! written by Michael Kearns and Anthony Lajoie and directed by Michael Kearns
The detective tandem of the Street Justice returns to KWLT after a four-year hiatus. In this completely unneeded and superfluous sequel, the pair must confront their arch nemesis, perhaps for the final time, all while dealing with a mysterious new evil genius. Featuring over 80% new jokes, and all new songs sure to make your ears enter nirvana, if only for a brief moment, Street Justice: Musical Justice 2: Sequel Justice: Justice is sure to make you leave feeling you’ve just watched a play, sort of.

When: June 3, 4, 5; 10, 11, 12. 8pm all nights, and Saturday matinées at 2pm. All three one acts will be performed at each of the eight showings.

Tickets are $15 for non-members and $10 for members. If you purchase a membership at the door ($25) you get a full year membership and free admission to the show included! That’s an immediate $15 savings, and $5 of every other show for the rest of the 2009-2010 season.
