Come be a part of the 4th show in KWLT’s 80th season!  Set in Manhattan in the early 80s, this dark comedy tells the story of a Polish immigrant couple starting anew in the USA.  Through one sleepless, hallucinatory night the two try coming to terms with their present circumstances as the ghosts of their past prove to be as pesky and resilient as the cockroaches on their floor.

Casting requirements:
Major roles: 1m, 1f, both 18-40ish.  These two characters are onstage throughout most of the play.
Minor roles: 3-8: at least 2m, 1f; no fixed ages.  Each of these roles appears for a single scene, allowing for substantial doubling.

Auditions will be conducted in groups, in half-hour blocks starting on the hour and the half-hour; this will be done on a walk-in basis, appointments are not necessary. Actors will be given scenes from the script to work with; you are welcome but not required to prepare a monologue for your audition.

“Hunting Cockroaches” is presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, INC.
