*KWLT announces Auditions for "Romeo and Juliet"*

William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet has traditionally been a story of
young love, rash decisions, and tragic loss. In today's world of an
ever-increasing lifespan and generational shift, this four hundred year old
story may still hold something new. If an elderly Romeo and Juliet had met
in the autumn of their lives, rather than in their spring, their actions
take on fresh meanings. Instead of the blush of first love, it is the rush
of an unexpected chance for a last love. Their actions are no longer rash,
but aged and deliberate. They are no longer victims of their emotions and
hormones, but are decisively in command of their passions. Their warring
children and their embittered friends won't stop them from seizing what
sweetness life still has to offer.
