Auditions: Venus in Fur

Vanda is determined to land the lead in a new play based on the classic erotic novel, Venus in Furs. During her audition, she gets caught up in an electrifying game of cat & mouse with the director, wherein the lines between fantasy & reality, actor & character, dominance & submission begin to blur. David Ives' Venus in Fur is a darkly comic examination of sexual power dynamic, objectification, masochism, & the destabilizing nature of sexual desire.
