Message from the President: A Change in the Board of Directors

By on

Posting on behalf of the President of Kitchener-Waterloo Little Theatre, an announcement about the Board of Directors:

Hi Everyone,

I’m writing today to let you know that Douglas Morton has made the difficult decision to resign from the board. For the past two and a half years, Douglas has served in the difficult position of Executive Producer and has ably served the KWLT community. Her work on behalf of KWLT has been greatly appreciated by the Board. We wish her all the best and hope that we’ll see her on stage or volunteering again soon. Thank you Douglas, for all your work and contributions to KWLT.

In order to ensure the smooth running of the theatre, the Board has voted to fill the vacancy left by Douglas, as specified by KWLT Bylaw No. 1, Section 8.06. The Board has elected Carolyn Galvin as a member of the Board of Directors and to fill the position of Executive Producer. We are very happy to have Carolyn on board, having seen her impressive efforts on behalf of the theatre. As specified in the by-laws, Carolyn’s term will last until the Annual General Meeting later this year. Thank you to Carolyn for taking on this responsibility and we look forward to working with you.

All the best,

Stacey Saunders
