Staged readings are a great way to try acting in a low pressure setting, to scratch the theatre itch without the 3 month time commitment, or to try something new that you want to work on for the stage! You'll spend Friday night and the day on Saturday working on the script with the director, adding characterization and some staging, and then present your work to an audience Saturday night followed by some discussion and feedback from the audience!
If you are interested in being part of this reading, please email with your name, age, and gender you're comfortable portraying on stage as well as a few details about your past stage experience.
To be involved, you need to be able to commit to the full day (9am to 11pm) on Saturday, May 23 as well as 7-10pm on Friday, May 22.
Don't want to act, but interested in the show? Join us for the performance of this reading Saturday, May 23 at 8pm at KWLT! Admission is by donation to the theatre. We will be hosting a discussion session after the play, so come prepared to talk!
