On March 7, KWLT presents its annual theatrical competition: one script, interpreted several ways, with the audience voting for their favourite & prizes bestowed by an adjudicator. But before that… we need a script.
That’s where you come in.
The March Madness planning team is now accepting scripts for consideration as the basis for this year’s event. What we’re looking for:
- Short, ideally about 10 minutes long
- 3–4 characters, ideally neutral with respect to ages, genders, and ethnicities
- Widely open to interpretation, in terms of setting as well as theme
Scripts received by January 31 will receive full consideration. The author of the selected script will receive an honorarium of $80 in lieu of royalties, and will be invited to join us at the performance.
