About

Kitchener-Waterloo Little Theatre is supported by the Cities of Waterloo and Kitchener. We are grateful for their ongoing support.

KWLT acknowledges that our theatre lies on the Haldimand Tract, traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, and Neutral peoples. We are grateful for the opportunity to operate and create on these traditional lands.

Kitchener-Waterloo Little Theatre is a volunteer-driven non-profit theatre in Kitchener-Waterloo (Ontario, Canada).

During the Covid-19 pandemic we have halted all main stage productions, and rentals are accepted on a case by case basis.  We are working on virtual productions, radio plays and fundraising opportunities.  If you would like to be a part of our virtual productions or back end volunteers, please email ep@kwlt.org to learn about any upcoming programing, or visit our auditions and volunteer pages to see how you can get involved.

Priding itself as an entry point to the theatre experience, KWLT holds auditions that are open to anyone, regardless of experience.

During normal times KWLT produces five or six Main Stage productions. We also host our Studio Series of smaller-scale productions (such as staged readings, improv events, and the ever-popular March Madness) as well as workshops and social events. The KWLT theatre is also a popular venue for rental by local and visiting performers.

For more information about KWLT, our events, or how you can get involved, peruse our volunteer and what’s on pages, call (519) 886-0660, or email us.
