As of July 1, 2023, the following rules regarding KWLT’s spaces will be in effect:
For patrons of KWLT events:
- For one-off KWLT events (such as studio series performances), masking is still required.
- For KWLT mainstage productions, some performances will be offered as “COVID cautious”; masking will be encouraged by not required for other performances.
- COVID cautious performances will require masking and will feature additional restrictions.
- KWLT will continue to make masks available for patrons.
For KWLT volunteers:
- Masking is encouraged for KWLT rehearsals, auditions, and other events. Production teams / event organizers can decide what an appropriate requirement is at their events.
- Volunteers at any event or night that requires masking will need to wear a mask when not performing.
For rental events in the KWLT theatre:
- KWLT is not requiring any restrictions beyond those imposed by the provincial and regional governments.
- However, note that the event organizers may have their own requirements around masking, vaccination, social distancing, etc.
- Please contact the event organizers directly if you have questions in this regard, or the rentals manager if you’re not sure who the event organizer is.
