Songs & Stories — An Evening with Hannah Green & Emma Campbell

An intimate night of songs & stories with Hannah Green and Emma Campbell at KWLT. Doors 7:30, show 8:00–10:00pm. Tickets are available on Eventbrite or at the door. This is an all-ages event.

Hannah Green is an alternative singer-songwriter known for blending folk, indie, and ambient elements to craft a captivating, atmospheric sound. Her debut full-length album, Moving Fast In Slow Motion (2024), produced by drummer and producer Nick Coultas-Clarke (Repartee), delves into the complex themes of love, loss, and the bittersweet transition from childhood to adulthood. The album’s emotive depth and unique style earned Green dual nominations for MusicNL’s Alternative Artist of the Year and Rising Star of the Year in the same year.

Emma Campbell is a Toronto-born singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has spent the majority of her 23 years immersed in music. Raised in a creative household — her mother a songwriter and music educator, her father a visual artist — Emma developed a deep connection to the arts early on. Since receiving her degree in Popular Music Studies at the University of Western Ontario, Emma has been deeply involved in the Toronto music scene, performing at venues including The Cameron House, The Rivoli, and The Drake Underground (where she opened for NYC-based band LAUNDRY DAY in 2022). In the fall of 2023, Emma was selected by Folk Music Ontario to showcase at their conference as a part of the prestigious Developing Artist Program.

Drawing from both pop and folk influences, Emma’s music is largely inspired by artists such as Lizzy McAlpine, Jensen McRae, and Phoebe Bridgers. Her debut EP, Oh Emma, (produced by Michael Wojewoda) was released in 2022, and she is currently promoting a new collection of singles created in collaboration with friend and producer Ben Heffernan.
