Auditions: February 28, 2026
Performance: March 7, 2026
KWLT’s ultimate theatrical competition is back for its thirteenth year — feeling lucky?
The concept is simple: one short script, with multiple production teams putting their own spin on it. Their renditions are presented back to back, with an adjudicator giving out prizes and the audience voting for a favourite.
The concept is simple; the results tend towards the unhinged. Welcome to March Madness.

And we’re off!
We’ve got four teams participating in this year’s event, working with the script Everyone Has It by Zivy Hardy. Tickets are on sale now for the evening performance; the open-dress matinee won’t have advance tickets, but PWYC admission at the door.
About the Adjudicator
Jimmy Chimarios, born in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, is a multifaceted actor, writer, producer, director, and creator of the romantic comedy Dimitri Goes to Hollywood. His passion for acting was ignited in elementary school, playing the Balliff in The Trial of the Big Bad Wolf, where his humorous delivery captivated audiences. After graduating high school, Jimmy pursued a banking career, becoming the youngest branch manager at a major international firm. The 2008 financial crisis redirected him to acting at age 28, leading to stunt roles in blockbusters like Pompeii and Robocop, and supporting roles in Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Picard, and Star Trek: Section 31, alongside stars like Michelle Yeoh and Patrick Stewart.
