Kitchener-Waterloo Little Theatre is supported by the Cities of Waterloo and Kitchener. We are grateful for their ongoing support.
KWLT acknowledges that our theatre lies on the Haldimand Tract, traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, and Neutral peoples. We are grateful for the opportunity to operate and create on these traditional lands.
Kitchener-Waterloo Little Theatre is a volunteer-driven non-profit community theatre in Kitchener-Waterloo (Ontario, Canada).
KWLT has operated since 1935 nearly continuously, with pauses during World War 2 and the COVID-19 pandemic. Priding itself as an entry point to the theatre experience, KWLT holds auditions that are open to anyone, regardless of experience.
Currently KWLT produces three Main Stage productions each season. We also host our Studio Series of smaller-scale productions (such as staged readings, improv events, and the ever-popular March Madness) as well as workshops and social events. The KWLT theatre is also a popular venue for rental by local and visiting performers.
