Join us for a night of holiday cheer where we’ll celebrate the history of KWLT and the season of giving! Our talented cast will deck the halls and bring joy to the world with their performance of VHS Christmas Carol by Starkid.

About KWLT

KWLT is proud to be one of Ontario’s longest running community theatres, currently celebrating 90 years of operations. Entirely volunteer driven, KWLT has only closed its doors for two reasons: WWII and Covid. Learn more about the history that has driven KWLT to present years of successful theatre in the region.

About the show

A holiday celebration blending Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol with 80’s music videos into a synth-elating reimagining of the classic tale!

About the event

Before the show, enjoy festive holiday drinks and a delicious turkey dinner (provided by Willibald’s Gin and Little Mushroom Catering) that will keep you in the spirit of the season, along with various speakers and festive mini-performances to be announced at a later date, before the grand finale: the 45 minute production of Starkid’s VHS Christmas Carol.

★ Vegan Option (must indicate in advance, we will email you): Acorn Squash Bowl with Lentil Ragout and Maple Roasted Carrots
★ A variety of sweet treats for dessert

$200 per seat (general seating)
$1000 per table (4 reserved seats, includes a $200 charitable donation receipt)

The profit from the Gala Fundraiser and other current fundraising efforts are directly supporting much-needed building improvements (such as a new HVAC system).
