ACTORS: Bring New Stories to Life this August!

The New Works Collective is looking for passionate performers to join our August Festival! We are casting for multiple pieces of varying lengths and ranging from hilarious comedies to compelling, deep dramas, meaning there is a perfect spot for you.

• Be a Partner in Creation: Work directly with local playwrights. This is a truly collaborative process where you can contribute feedback and help shape new work from the ground up!
• Flexible Commitment: Whether you’re looking for a low-stakes, fun few weeks or an intense, immersive project rehearsing through the summer, we have options to fit your summer schedule.
• Newcomer Friendly: Never done a new works festival? No problem! We are welcoming and thrilled to have new faces.

Audition Details:

• Bring a prepared monologue or choose from our provided selection.
• Directors may ask you to read from sides.

  • May 17: 12-5 pm
  • May 18: 12-5 pm 
  • May 19: 7-10 pm 
• 44 Gaukel St, Kitchener
  • May 22: 7-10 pm 
  • May 23: 12-3 pm
