As part of our gala fundraiser this December, KWLT will be presenting this uniquely StarKid take on the Dickens holiday classic. Auditions will be held November 9, 12–4pm and November 10 & 11, 6–10pm at 44 Gaukel St. in the community room on the second floor.

Production dates
This show is running on a compressed rehearsal timeline, with the following dates already scheduled:
- Sing-through: Saturday November 15, 1–4pm
- Rehearsals: Tuesdays from 6–10pm: November 18 & 25, December 2 & 9 (with possible additional rehearsals if necessary)
- Tech, build, and dress rehearsals: December 14–16 (all day Sunday, 6–10pm Monday & Tuesday)
- Shows: December 18–20 (evenings on Thursday and Friday, matinee on Saturday)
- Strike: Sunday, December 21 (midday)

- Scrooge, an old curmudgeon – Baritone (B2-A4)
- Fred, Scrooge’s nephew, hopeful and festive – Baritone (A2-G4)
- Bob Cratchit, Scrooge’s clerk, a timid family man – Tenor (F3-A4)
- Marley, Ghost of Scrooge’s old business partner – Alto (G3-D5)
- Past, the cheeky Ghost of Christmas Past – Alto (A3-A4)
- Present, the joyful Ghost of Christmas Present – Bass/Baritone (A2-E4)
- Future, the spooky Ghost of Christmas Future – Mezzo (C4-E5)
- Young Scrooge, Scrooge in the past – Baritone (C3-E4)
- Belle, Scrooge’s lost love (in the past) – Mezzo (G3-E5)
- Emily Cratchit, Bob Cratchit’s loving wife – Soprano (E4-F5)
- 1-3 others (Tiny Tim, Fezziwig, Turkey Boy, and other background roles) – any voice type
Format of auditions
Auditions will be done individually, each taking about 15 minutes:
- Brief chat about basic info/preferences for roles
- Range check
- Sing a prepared song (ideally bring a backing track or know where to find one on YouTube)
- Sing it again with some direction
- Harmony check (sing the tune of a simple song while someone else sings harmony)
- Learn a tiny snippet from a group song from the show
