What to expect, and how to prepare

  • We strongly advise that you come prepared with a Shakespearean monologue, to allow you to show your best work. Monologues should be between 30 seconds to 2 minutes in length. There will be a selection of monologues available to use if you don’t have one prepared.
  • You’ll be asked to deliver or read your monologue once your own way and then again (maybe a few times) with direction from our amazing Director
  • There will be a stage combat portion of the audition, so wear comfortable clothes that you can move in. You’ll be taught a series of maneuvers with a sword!
  • We will ask to take your picture, as this makes it easier for us to associate your audition with your info during casting.
