This past spring, we recruited a group of theatre newcomers — a mix of folks who haven’t done much theatre at all, and some that had only been involved in one side of things (i.e. acting) and wanted to broaden their experience.

They’ve been learning about all aspects of putting on a show, from direction to stage management to tech, and now they’re ready to show you what they’ve learned.

The 2025 Popcorn Plays Showcase consists of nine ten-minute plays. Showtimes are 8pm on Thursday–Saturday along with a 2pm Saturday matinee. Come out and support KWLT’s next generation of theatrical explorers!
