Diana Lobb — Director
Diana Lobb has played many roles at KWLT. She has been an actor, a stage manager, a producer, and a director in a variety of shows. When she’s not exploring the theatre, you can find her at St. Jerome’s University at the University of Waterloo where she is a lecturer in English language and literature.
Paige Gugeler — Stage Manager
Paige is super excited to be a part of this show and can’t wait for you all to experience the wonderful and crazy lives of Ali & Ali! She’s done stage crew work before for productions of Peter Pan and The Wizard of Oz, and has acted in a stage adaptation of the book, The Giver. She’d like to thank her music teachers for always pushing her to follow her passion of the arts
Aila Muzio — Assistant Stage Manager
Aila is beyond excited to be part of the backstage crew for this production and she can’t wait for you all to get a glimpse into the terrifically chaotic lives of Ali & Ali! While she doesn’t have much experience with drama productions, her background in dance has given her a deep understanding of the workings of theatre. She would like to thank the director and producers of this show for putting it together and giving her the opportunity to get involved.
Katherine Newell — Assistant Stage Manager
Katherine is excited to return to KWLT as ASM with this production. Her previous stints as ASM with KWLT include Blood Relations and The December Man. She’s very thankful to director Diana Lobb for bringing her back on board with another production that asks important questions about the society we take part in.
Kevin Fong — Technical Director
Kevin is glad to be back behind the scenes at KWLT, and looks forward to seeing how the audience reacts to . Previous works at KWLT include The December Man (voice acting/special effects) and Sister Cities (Assistant Stage Manager).

Salma Baheyeldin — Set Build Lead
Salma is a second-year Global Business and Digital Arts student at the University of Waterloo. During her free time, she enjoys painting, sculpting, and reading. She’s excited for the audience to experience this fantastical comedic and satirical production.
Matthew Canning — Puppet Master
Matthew Canning is currently studying Technical Production-Theatre Arts at Humber college. His most recent production was Spring Awakening with Agnew Acting Studios. Traditionally a stage manager, Matthew learned puppetry for this production in particular.
Sheila Kraehling — Costume Manager
Sheila attended Fanshawe College for Technical Theatre. Although it has been many years since she has worked in theatre she is excited to get back into the theatre world with this wonderful group of individuals.
Burak Ilhan — Props Manager
I am an architect who is also passionate about performance arts. So far, I have participated in many locaI musical productions as either actor, writer or director including some of Broadway favorites like Spamalot, Book of Mormon, Little Shop of Horrors and Addams Family. As the props manager of Ali & Ali: The Deportation Hearings, I am confident that we will put on a great show and have fun together on a night of fun and sarcasm!
