David Green is a British comedian known as “The Punniest Comedian in Canada”, his witty wordplay and silly stories have been seen on Canada’s Got Talent and as the host of YourTV’s ‘Hilarity in the Horseshoe’.With numerous TV and festival appearances under his belt, this award-winning performer has amassed over 9 Million views across the globe.
Evan Carter has been a frequent guest on radio and television, and also hosted his own CBC TV special. He’s been in comedy for over 40 years, opening up for some of the world’s top acts including Gladys Knight, The Temptations, Air Supply and Dionne Warwick.
Vinny Vinelli is a comedian, writer, actor and producer. He studied comedy at Second City in Toronto, Chicago and LA. He has performed all throughout North America including famed comedy clubs like Flappers (LA), Comedy Bar (Toronto), Zanies (Chicago) and Gotham Comedy Club (New York City). He currently has a segment on MinddogTV called Vinny Vinelli on the Town and is a co-host of the Comedy Road podcast.

Hey KW, it’s been a hot minute since we’ve seen a weekend of live improv in town — and the Podcavern is ready to change that with A Little Something Silly!
Join us April 7-8 at the Kitchener-Waterloo Little Theatre for two nights of mischief, mayhem and make-em-ups with some of most talented performers from the region (and beyond!). Each night will feature four fabulous acts guaranteed* to make you giggle with glee. Watch this space over the next couple of weeks as our exciting lineup is announced!

Violist Marlena Pellegrino curates and performs a dynamic program of solo and duo works including an original world premiere for viola and spoken word. She is joined by percussionist Yang Chen and actor and poet Kelsey Rideout.
The ensemble of “contemporary chamber trailblazers” (Boston Globe), Hub New Music makes its Canadian debut. Hub will give Canadian premieres of new works by Daniel Thomas Davis, Jessica Meyer, Angélica Negrón, James Diaz, and Michael Ippolito. Ippolito’s Capriccio rounds out the program and is a three-movement work inspired by the paintings of Hans Hofmann.

Established in 1997, the JUNO nominated Orchid Ensemble is acclaimed as “one of the most adventurous groups uniting Eastern and Western musical traditions” (Georgia Straight). The trio is made up of internationally renowned musicians Lan Tung (Taiwan/Canada) on the erhu/Chinese violin & vocals, Dailin Hsieh (Taiwan/Canada) on the zheng/Chinese zither, and Jonathan Bernard (Canada) on percussion, including the marimba. The ensemble regularly commissions and premieres new compositions. It has embraced a variety of styles in its repertoire, ranging from Taiwanese and Chinese music, World Music, New Music to Creative Improvisation.
