KWLT’s New Works Festival is coming up this August! If you’re looking for theatrical opportunities over the summer, we invite you to come out for auditions — we’ve got fourteen works to cast, from two-minute monologues to 30+-minute plays, across a range of genres and moods, so there’s something for everyone here.

Auditions will be held at 44 Gaukel Street in downtown Kitchener on June 16 (Noon-4pm), June 18 (7–9pm), and June 19 (7–9pm). Walk-ins are always welcome, but we invite you to sign up in advance for an audition spot.

If you have a prepared monologue, please bring it to perform for your audition. If you do not have a prepared monologue, we will have sides available from the festival shows available in the waiting area. If you’ll be reading from one of our sides for your audition, please arrive early to ensure you have time to choose one.
