KWLT is now accepting nominations for its two annual awards: the Golden Spring Award and the President’s Award.
The Golden Spring is an annual award that honours exceptional contributions to the technical aspects of our productions from the most recent season. “Technical aspects” include but are not limited to set design, set construction, costuming, prop construction, lighting design, sound design, stage management, and technical direction. Eligible productions for this year’s award are the Summer Play Workshopping Series, The Funeral to End All Funerals, March Madness 2024, Kafka’s Dick, and Firebringer.
The President’s Award is an annual honour that recognizes commitment to KWLT, the spirit of volunteerism, and contributions to the theatre as an organization (as opposed to specific productions).
